Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Mane For Men website and platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Mane For Men is a technology platform that connects patients with independent licensed healthcare providers. We are not a medical provider, and we do not practice medicine.

2. Eligibility

You must meet all of the following to use the Service:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a biological male residing in a US state where our clinicians are licensed
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate, truthful information during intake and throughout your use of the Service

3. Not Medical Advice

Mane For Men is a technology platform, not a medical provider. The Service facilitates access to independent licensed healthcare providers; it does not itself provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

All clinical decisions — including whether to prescribe medication — are made solely by the independent licensed clinician assigned to your case. A clinician review does not guarantee a prescription will be issued. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

4. Scope of Service

Mane For Men is designed exclusively for adult men with suspected male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). The Service is not appropriate for:

  • Patchy, sudden, or diffuse hair loss not consistent with androgenetic alopecia
  • Hair loss associated with scalp inflammation, psoriasis, or autoimmune conditions
  • Telogen effluvium (shedding following illness, surgery, or major stress)
  • Hair loss suspected to be caused by thyroid disorders or iron deficiency
  • Anyone under 18 years of age

If any of the above apply to you, we encourage you to consult a dermatologist or your primary care physician.

5. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide complete and accurate information in your intake form, including your medical history, current medications, and health conditions. Providing false or misleading information may result in an inappropriate prescription and could pose a risk to your health.Mane For Men and its partner clinicians are not liable for outcomes resulting from information you provide that is inaccurate or incomplete.

6. Payments and Subscription

The Mane For Men Treatment Plan is a recurring monthly subscription at $29/month.

  • Charge timing: Your payment method is not charged until a licensed clinician reviews your intake and approves a treatment plan. If a clinician does not approve your case, you are not charged.
  • Recurring billing: Once your plan is approved, your payment method will be charged $29/month on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support@maneformen.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Because our $29/month fee covers a clinician visit, prescription issuance, and medication fulfillment that have already been performed, we do not offer refunds for completed subscription periods. Contact support if you believe an error has been made.
  • Price changes:We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing the subscription price. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amounts described above via Stripe.

7. Independent Clinicians

The healthcare providers who review your intake and issue prescriptions are independent licensed practitioners employed by or contracting with US-based medical groups. They are not employees or agents of Mane For Men. Mane For Men does not direct, control, or supervise the clinical judgment of these providers.

Your relationship with the clinician is a separate patient-provider relationship governed by applicable healthcare law.

8. Medications and Side Effects

FDA-approved medications prescribed through the Service (finasteride, topical minoxidil) carry known risks and side effects. Finasteride may cause sexual side effects in a small percentage of users. Topical minoxidil may cause initial shedding or scalp irritation.

Your clinician will discuss risks before prescribing. You are responsible for reading all medication guides and informing your clinician of any adverse reactions. If you experience a serious adverse reaction, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false health information to obtain a prescription
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the platform

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software on the Mane For Men platform are owned by or licensed to Mane For Men. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

We do not guarantee that you will receive a prescription or that treatment will be effective. Individual results vary.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANE FOR MEN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CLINICAL DECISIONS MADE BY INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mane For Menand its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your provision of inaccurate health information.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Class action and class arbitration are waived.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or platform notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
